We, as Halsey Fest, take pride in hosting and collaborating on events which brings our community together to celebrate the vibrant spirit of the Halsey Street corridor, including our flagship event, Halsey Festival. Halsey Fest is more than just one event—it’s a curated collection of community-centered experiences that take place throughout the year. With intentional programming and activations, we create a consistent calendar designed to engage residents, students, office workers, event-goers, and newcomers to Downtown Newark.

About Halsey Fest

Our anchor event, Halsey Festival is a highlight of the Halsey corridor placemaking efforts, featuring a main stage for incredible local performances, a vendor market offering food and goods, and free activities for all ages to enjoy. What truly sets the collection of Halsey Fest events apart is our strong collaboration with community organizations, making it a celebration of and by the people who call Halsey Street home. Through every activation, we continue to strengthen connections and foster the growth of the Halsey Street corridor and the broader Arts and Education District.
